The first Test match of two-match series between Australia and Pakistan ended in draw as Australian skipper Paine defied odds to survive nearly fifteen overs with the tail.
Usman Khawaja played a brilliant innings of 141.
Earlier, Pakistan had declared their second innings at 181 thus setting a target of 462 runs to win. In reply, Australia managed 362 runs on the loss of eight wickets.
